    A mid-day pause to move, breathe, and reset. This class offers space to release tension, reconnect with your body, and return to the rest of your day feeling more present and supported.

  • Restorative Yoga with Devany

    First Wedensday of Every Month: 7:30-9:00 PM

    A quiet evening practice to help you release the day, soften the body, and find ease through rest, using props and supported shapes that invite the body to settle and restore.

Somatic Yoga invites you to:

  • Move with awareness rather than effort

  • Attend to sensation instead of shape

  • Return to your center again and again

  • Reconnect with the body as a source of insight and grounding

This is yoga as felt experience — movement guided by listening inward, not by striving outward.

What This Is

Somatic Yoga at Illumine Within is a practice of embodied listening — a way of moving that prioritizes felt experience over form, performance, or external outcomes. Rather than “doing yoga,” this is a space for you to notice sensation, breath, and inner response, and through that noticing, come back into connection with your own body’s wisdom.

Here, the body is not something to fix or perfect. It is a living, responsive intelligence shaped by your history, relationships, beliefs, and daily life. When you slow down enough to feel, you discover that your body already knows how to soften, adapt, and renew.

Listening Into the Body

This offering may be supportive if you are:

  • Seeking gentle, guided movement that emphasizes coming home to yourself

  • Interested in embodiment as part of a spiritual or healing journey

  • Looking for practices that support regulation, grounding, and clarity

  • Curious about Devany’s 1:1 somatic coaching and want to experience her approach in a group setting

No prior yoga experience is required. You’re invited to move at your own pace and honor what feels true for you.
