About Devany
I’m Devany Bourdo — a somatic coach, spiritual guide and circle facilitator devoted to embodied healing and spiritual remembering.
My work is grounded in a simple truth: healing isn’t something we chase — it’s something we remember.
Shaped by seasons of identity unraveling, grief, and the unlearning of systems of control, my path has become one of deep remembering. I’ve learned to meet the body as trustworthy ground — and to trust that doubt can become a portal into what is real.
Here, presence becomes a path home. And compassion becomes a way of living outward.
What this Work Is
I create consent centered, nurturing spaces where people feel seen, supported, and ultimately trusted — first by themselves.
This work tends what has been shaped by over-functioning, cultural or religious pressure, and long seasons of self-abandonment. It supports the reclamation of:
self-worth
emotional boundaries
authenticity and personal power
a steady sense of enoughnes
So you can breathe, rest, and live from embodied truth — not effort, performance, or fear.
Who I Walk With
I companion helpers, deep feelers, seekers and mothers, — those crossing thresholds of identity, grief, transition, or spiritual unraveling — people longing to feel alive and at home in themselves again.
Some are healing from cultural or religious conditioning that taught them to silence their truth or distrust their body. Others are spiritual wayfinders, reimagining faith through an embodied and relational lens.
Wherever you begin, the thread is the same: a return to what’s real — self-trust, presence, and the pulse of life itself.
Roots & Lineage
Raised within the Christian contemplative and mystical tradition, my work is shaped by contemplative prayer, decolonizing study, Celtic and ancestral practice and feminine archetypal remembering.
These lineages inform a spirituality that is relational, earth-devoted, and body-honoring — one that recognizes the sacred in all things and trusts Love as a slow, wise unfolding already alive within us.
I come as one who carries the salt of her own tears and the memory of ancestral waters — walking not above or ahead, but beside, with reverence for what is tender, true, and unseen.
Formation & Influence
My work is actively mentored by Marisa Guadalupe and informed by study with Dra. Rocío Rosales Meza. I apprenticed in spiritual companionship under Tara Owens (Anam Cara Ministries) and draw deeply from teachers such as Cynthia Bourgeault, Barbara Holmes, Christena Cleavand, as well as the Center for Action and Contemplation.
I am also a 200-hour Yoga Alliance–certified teacher in vinyasa and restorative yoga, bringing breath, inner listening, and embodied practice into every space I hold.
